They're just want you to be them and happy to see you're pretending. The most important thing for them is..... you follow their rule. Its back to yourself of how you're gonna take and face it.

 

Ms. Bachelor of Education

Its been a hectic month with so much time I spent on working on my undergraduate theses. Starting from being a teacher in a Junior High School, a never-ending revision and going through the chapters. But hey guys! you have to know that this is the most beautiful phase in my life. I never take a thing for granted, I know all I have to do is to work on this and that and never ever become a procrastinator. And the day is come...... finally I passed this phase through a defense. the 4th of July is historically unforgettable for myself. 

Nothing can beat the feeling of enthusiasm at the time you just passed the defense of your theses. Its like..... "Finally! no more college, revising paper thingy, and no more nungguin dosen for the rest of the day". am so excited for a brand new day and start looking for a job as a teacher. after browsing here and there, and having some interviews with some schools' HRD finally I'm accepted as an English teacher in a school (since I'm so passionate in teaching). At first, I'm sooo relief that not so long after my defense, I can get a job I really wanted, which is, as a teacher for sure. I bought some working outfit, preparing myself with a teacher-training, and hope for the best.

Ron's Laboratory

Lately, I've been feeling glued by social media thingy such as Twitter, Path, Instagram, and so on. Because of that, my boyfriend said that I'm belongs to 'mainstream' area. It's funny when he said that I'm really one of "ababil". Yes, I can accept the fact that this is too mainstream. But you know, we can always find a positive way of doing the things that we like, including using those kinds of social media. We can be updated by the new informations, brought to the place we didn'tknow before , online shopping without have to go outside the house and even we can meet and mingle with many people with the same passion and goals with us. seems insteresting, isn't it?

So, one day when I was "Instagram-ing" I found a unique and cool ice cream shop to visit. The name of this ice cream shop is Ron's Laboratory. This is located in Grand Indonesia west mall level 5. For the sake of breaking the curiousity, finally, me and my boyfriend visit this place. Things that makes me curious is its appearance. Ron's Laboratory bring up the new and unique concept as scientific as the real laboratory. When we entered the place we can find the waitress and the waitresses wearing the white coat exactly like the scientists' coat. Not only that, all ice cream in this place is quiet different with the traditional one because the ice cream is made of liquid nitrogen which is recently booming in Jakarta. The ice cream is made instantly in front of the cutomers so we can enjoy the show of ice cream making, live!

Look! how cute it is. The cream cheese is literally injected inside the ice cream. The taste is quiet similar with the red velvet cake. I don't kknow I'm a bit sensitive with the strong sweet taste but this ice cream is not too sweet so that  I can handle every single bribe of it.

Unfortunately, the place is a little bit small compared to the amount of costumers that visit this place. So we have to be tricky to find a seat :) So, what are you waiting for, Jakartans? Let's put this place into your weekend list.

Heaven of Cakes!

When I was a kid, I used to have a dream that I'll make a house of candy, cookies, and chocolate just like a witch's house in Hansel and Gratel. The wall will be made of chocolate, the window will taste sweet, and the living room will be filled with ginger bread furniture. Can't you imagine if we live in such delicious house? we will never ever live hungry and poor cause we'll always have something sweet to eat. 

If you have the same obsession with me, you must be happy now because Hansel and Gratel house is literally coming to town...YAY! soo if you're a culinary-lover, you must come to a cake studio named Colette & Lola. Colette & Lola is a cake studio that is located in Senopati area and only within 10 minutes from my campus. Colette & Lola is developed under Ismaya Group which is known best as a unique concept maker. We should give a standing ovation for every concept that they made in each of their restaurant. 

Last thursday I decided to come to this unique cake studio early in the morning to taste the cakes and of course... take some pictures.  To ovoid the crowds, I decided to come just after the cake shop was openned. bacause if we're not lucky, we'll be on waiting list. When I entered the cake studio, I  feel like I'm going to take a thousand pictures at that time. The concept was too unique to leave it with only a few pictures.

1. The Hazel - Nutcracker

This is very reccomended for you guys that don't really like a strong-chocolate taste. The hazelnut tastes sooooo good.

2. Call Me Panda

Do you have any courage to cut this cutie panda into pieces? Can you just do it? Ok you should do it! Actually this is more like chocolate cream rather than a cake. The chococlate taste a bit too strong but yet sooo addictive. you can experience a vanilla creme sauce melted fom the middle of the cake and o my God I can feel a party on my tounge.

3. Bittersweet Love.

This is a dark chcolate cake that rounded by a crunchy hazelnut biscuit. The taste is a bit is similar with the Panda one but the chocolate is not that strong. This is my favorite!

4. Bikini.

I'm not sure why they named it 'Bikini' but I should make you sure that this cake is worth to try. This 'bikini' is  a rare cheesekace with vanilla sponge and blueberry jam in the middle of it.  This cake is ordered by my friend and she told me that she really like it. She said that the blueberry jam can neutralizing the taste of the cheese and vanilla. Wow.

Birdcage

Kandang burung?

Tenang dulu guys. ini bukan kandang burung yang sesungguhnya. Birdcage disini adalah sebuah cafe yang terletak di bilangan Wijaya Jakarta Selatan. Awalnya, gue ngeliat di salah satu stasiun televisi ada sebuah acara yang mereview Birdcage. Sebenernya lebih banyak review makanannya, tapi karena gue suka banget foto-foto di tempat makan, akhirnya dengan gesit gue google semua informasi tentang cafe ini. satu menit googling, gue udah ngiler-ngiler, "duuuh! bagus amat!" . Naahh baru deh guys gue menyempatkan diri untuk datengin cafenya. Birdcage cafe mempunyai beberapa konsep interior design. di level satu, birdcage menawarkan konsep yang sweet dengan ornamen-ornamen yang lucu menghiasi seluruh sudut ruangan. di level dua, konsep agak lebih serius tapi santai. Dengan konsep seperti tree house dan interior yang di dominasi dengan kayu kayu, dan pemandangan pepohonan yang rimbun,bikin kalian bakal ngerasa lagi berada di daerah pegunungan. fyi, cafe ini cocok banget untuk yang mau romantic dinner, mau anniversary 1 bulanan, 1 taunan, atau 1 winduan atau cuma mau foto-foto doang? (kaya gue) tempat ini wajib dipilih. kekarena suasana romantis nya sangat sangat dapet. dan pastiiii pas ngeliat foto-foto lo di sana, temen-temen lo bakal kepo nyaritau, kaya gini contohnya:

"eh, itu dimana? lucu banget!"

"ngafe mulu, banyak duit lo?"

Good Things About Being In a Relationship

No relationship is perfect and having that high expectation of perfection is only going to lead to failure. Relationships come with pointless fighting, some jealousy and a little bit of drama, but overall, a healthy relationship can be a really great thing to be a part of. So, what are the best things about being attached? Find out below:

1. Sweet treats. Being in relationship can make you feel that you're loved, connected, and desired.  There will always a person that take his time to call you or simply send you a text to check if you're doing fine. 

2.A good boyfriend can be your bestfriend.You can have someone to walk with, someone to encourage you to try new things, someone to care for you in ways you might not care for yourself. You have someone to make you laugh- cook with, have deep conversations with, a lot of things are beneficial to being in a relationship- a healthy relationship that is.

3.You'll always have weekend plans. Dude, you're too young to skip saturday night date.

4.You'll learn so much about yourself . Being a relationship is the best way to find out your exact character. there will always one person that can tell the truth  about your strength and weaknesses. complaining your bad side and complimenting your good side. 

5. If you're lucky you'll have a new family. You can always have opportunities to talk with your boyffriend's family, especially, his parents. Because you're their son's girlfriend (not yet for me but soon to be :))

6. Time management. being in a relationship can improve your time management skill. you'll have to arange time for work, family, and time to meet your boyfriend.

After all, being in a relationship is awesome :)

Obvious Envious

I can't believe how can someone you used to so closed and shared everything together now keep throwing trash from their mind. and that trashes.....is thrown for you. well, someone can't stay in the same mind forever and they can't be exactly the same person you used to know. 

now, have you ever feel burning when you see a friend of yours happier than you? if yes, good. you are in a fantastic way to live miserable. sometimes jealousy can not be understood. its indefineable. can you imagine? at the same time you feel ecstatic about your life, someone out there stare at you like you're a bitch, criticizing your happiness and try to block it. and again, its because of jealousy. if I'm happy, surely I will involve you. only if you want. if you won't, then dont even judge me like you ever stand in my shoes. because blowing up other's candle will not make your own shines brighter.
